Default How to transfer large data from PC to laptop?

Well, I have lots of data that I would like to transfer from my PC to laptop so that I can burn them to a DVD(my Pc's writer is not working).

Is there a way to do it?

Make a lan connection between your pc and laptop, then put it on sharing. Start transferring and yes, you need lan cable for that.

Burning data on DVDs isn't a comfortable to safe data.
USB drives are much more userfriendly. They also allow for data transfer between computers.

If you have Wi-Fi you can do it easily by using the sharing options in network settings. LAN cable works too.

Depending on how much data you have, you can also way do external hardrive.

Atlthough USB transfers are much more ideal as it saves you time and preserves data integrity.

I really like using an external drive for exactly that. You can also put your two machines on a workgroup via your o/s software and a switch.
