Default Linux Natty Narwhal

Anyone using it? What do you think?

By the way you can't downgrade once it's installed! If you use Ubuntu and thinking of upgrading, boot from a CD or USB first to make sure it works.

Trust me on this...

This was my first time trying a Unix on my home laptop. It crashes sometimes when I boot it and not everything installs properly, so I'll probably stick to Windows for now.

I guess, or you could try an earlier version, like 10.10 which has better support.

Very tempting but I have decided to stick to long term release (LTS) so I won't leave my Lucid Lynx.

I had wubi do my install for me and installed it alongside of Windows 7. It worked fine. I found the Unity Interface a tad sluggish however. It was rather pretty though.

The only problem I have with Linux in general is programs that are native to Windows not having an installer for *nix OS systems. Namely, Yahoo, MSN, AIM (an updated version), and a game I play. If it weren't for the amount of use i use these programs (webcam, mic, photosharing, etc...), I'd have been done with Windows by now and be done with it.
