Default Help to configure ShareThis

I have two questions:

1. Where are ShareThis settings on wordpress.org dashboard?

In their website, it's shown that it should be under settings, but I don't see it there. I'm confused.

2. Every article I have has a picture in it and it's made a featured picture for that article. However, for some reason when I click share this on facebook, ShareThis adds my picture from about section. How to make it to put a picture which comes with a particular article when sharing a link?

Thank you,

Agota

With Wordpress.org you have to install a ShareThis Plugin. It is very easy, just check out the plug in section, click new, and type "Share This" into the search box where it tells you to search for plugins. It will instantly install as you click the appropriate buttons.

As far as sharing a selected picture with each link you share, I don't know how to do that. I find the Share This function seems to randomly select one of the latest images I have used.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much.

I did install share this, but I don't get how to configure it so it would look different (now it only shows social media icons, and I want it to show how many times people has shared something as well)?

Go into the ShareThis configuration:

Look for this at the top of the page:

Choose the display style for your social buttons.
Selected Choice.
Look for either Horizontal Count or Vertical Count. Either one of those should display how many times your post has been shared. That should do the trick!

Abrazos,
juancito

I personally use sexy bookmarks plugin, much easier to use and even more options.
