 |  Error on my wordpress blog.. help?!
Hey everyone, I am getting a weird error on the top of PAGES on my wordpress blog. It doesn't show up on posts. it doesnt seem to be a theme error, but even when I deactivate all of my plugins, the error still shows up. I have one sneaking suspicion though. I manually deleted a plugin (Fast and Secure Contact Form) via FTP the other day because it wasn't working and trying to uninstall it within wordpress kept failing. AFter removing the directory i tried to reinstall it, but it still fails, saying theres already a directory by that name.. Even when I've deleted it manually by FTP. I don't know if that's what's causing the error though, but that's the only thing I can think of that might be effecting it.. but the plugin isn't installed, and it's not enabled. Is this the error you're referring to: /about//home/.sites/64/site41/web/wp-content/themes/soulvision/page.php This points to a page in your theme, so I would suspect a problem in the theme. Have you done any code work on the theme itself? |

I had that theme, and saw that error on my own website before. Then I went looking for the reason that that theme has errors and I found this: Soulvision WordPress Theme is Crap! | JohnPash.com Seems like the creator of that theme forgot to do something with the footer.php file associated with it. Unless you're pretty good with code (or know someone who is good with code), this probably isn't going to be a simple fix. |
