Default Firefox keeps quitting!

Hello

Any ideas here..

I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox and have ensured that all the plugins are compatible with this versiona and yet Firefox just unexpectedly quits with absolutely no warning! It is very annoying!

Can anyone suggest a fix?

Try starting in safe mode:

FireFox Hacker - Start Firefox in Safe Mode

See if that works. If the issue continues start uninstalling the extensions one by one.

I think there's a debug option but can't find the link.

Thx will try that

Also have noticed in the last crash that my entire surfing history has now disappeared. Did a search on google and apparently this is stored in the history.dat file. I couldn't find it on my computer. Is this anyone's experience?

It should be in your ff users profile. Here is a link telling you how to find the profile:

Profile folder - MozillaZine Knowledge Base

It might be hidden so enable the option to view hidden files on your OS
