Is there any way to (legally) use the Powerpoint 2007 templates without having to install Powerpoint 2007?

I'm running Powerpoint 2003. I've heard that Powerpoint 2007 has much better templates and I'd love to use them for presentation I'm giving. However, I really don't want to need to install Office 2007 for any other reason at this point.

Is it possible to purchase the Powerpoint 2007 templates separately and use them with Powerpoint 2003?

I think Open Office (which is free and open source) can run Powerpoint files.
