Google analytics simply analyzes traffic to your site and gives you valuable feedback on what kind of visitors are hitting your site.

Adsense is basically text based ads that you can put on your website and you get paid a certain amount per click. Hope that helps.

Analytics and Adsense are two totally different things.

1. Analytics is html code that you put in the html of your pages. Your visitors never see it, and all it does is report statistics to your Analytics account.

2. Adsense displays ads on your page. Visitors see these, and if they click on them, you get paid.

Yes, Curtis wrote what it is and you can't lose revenue because of analytics but if you are looking your adsense revenue in google analytics take a look at it in adsense account. Maybe you didn't connect it in a good way and sometimes analytics don't show the same results, i am waiting for them to fix that for a while now

On Analytics it is basicly a code that you pop on your webiste to see how many users and traffic are coming to your site each and every day.

Adsense, is another niffty code you put on your website and you generate some hard cash for your self! .

As others said, Google Analytics helps you keep track of how many people visit your site, where they're from, how they found your site, etc...

Hopefully you can discover the real cause your revenue is down .
