Default Su.pr

I've been using a fantastic service for a number of months now and I notice that it hasn't been discussed so far at this forum.

It is a traffic generating service kind of like ping.fm but with some really unique features.

I first read about it on Tim Ferriss' blog here:
Exclusive First Look: SU.PR – Stumble Upon’s New Traffic Builder

I highly recommend Su.pr - Drive More Traffic with Your Short URLs! for anyone who would like to be able to auto-update your social profiles with your latest content in one simple process.

It also gets you connected with StumbleUpon which has been discussed at length in another thread.

Enjoy

It is a great tool, but it's weird in that as soon as I refresh the page after tweeting out a link it says I've already gotten a few visitors from it. And that's very unlikely with my smaller follower count. Just a weird bug though. Overall it's a great service which got me more into StumbleUpon.

Yes that is a very strange bug. I once posted a link to an article on my site and it said there were 45 clicks. My site analytics indicated 4 clicks. And my analytics are very accurate.

I have seen something very similar. I have been testing su.pr for the last 2-3 weeks, and yes, it has increased traffic, but the clicks on su.pr do not match my analytics. It also shows like half a dozen clicks within seconds of posting, which I find hard to believe. I would say the traffic bumps are only on the days I post to su.pr. So as I expected, its creating more hits, but not much for return visitors.

But, I will take the traffic bump as I am building and learning. It takes little effort to update su.pr, so I will keep using it for now.

Cool. Yeah the analytics for su.pr do not match up.

It does get your content into the StumbleUpon database which is always a good thing! The su.pr plugin for Wordpress is also fantastic as it submits stuff to StumbleUpon AND Facebook whenever you post something new to your blog.

Good automation
