What do you mean by "link"? What exactly do you want to do?

I mean how Steve's Facebook account and Twitter account are automatically updated each time he posts a new blog post.

I'm sure he said it was done with widgets, so I was wondering which ones work best to do that.

Best one I know of is the su.pr service/api/widget by stumbleupon.

My tweets are posted to Facebook via notes (using RSS). But I don't think that's the best way to do it and to be honest with you, I'm not even sure how to change that now. But I do know that there are many ways to do it and, yes, applications are probably the best options. The only reason why I set mine up different is because, at the time I set it up, I couldn't find a good one (I tried a couple and they didn't perform quite as expected). So I used the notes as an alternative.

edit: oh, sorry, I misread your post, Holistic Star. I thought you meant updating Facebook with your Tweets. The suggested widget seems to be perfect for what you need. I'll check it myself.

By the way, if someone knows how to remove the link between Notes on Facebook and Twitter, please let me know. I've been trying to fix that for a while now...

Ok, Bruce helped me figure it out, it looks like it's fixed and now I'm using an application instead. If anyone runs into that situation, the way to delete the RSS stream from your notes is through your main profile page under "settings" right above your main stream. Trying to delete it from the applications page or even the notes page takes you nowhere, because there is simply no option for that anywhere in those places.

So, just thought I'd share the solution just in case anyone runs into the same issue. I don't mean to derail the thread.

The Tweetdeck app can post concurrently to Facebook and Twitter, but it's not really designed for full scale blog updates.

There is also a Twitter app that captures a hashtag #fb and reposts to your Facebook account when it finds that hashtag. I don't recall the name of it at the moment.
