This is my first post...

In any case, read over the discussion here..... Stumble-Upon will produce traffic if people actually like your content....

I had one article get 5500 stumbles in one day..... in total it has gotten 11k.
I was surprised. I thought I was a crappy writer.

I'm a little new to stumbleupon can anyone explain the best way for us to help each other out?

If we subscribe to each other we can send links/posts that are worthwile to look at and may be given a thumb up.

If we are subscribed to each other we also get to see each others favorites when we press the stumble button in the SU toolbar. This means that the more subscribers you have the more your favorites (including your own posts) will be shared within your network of subscribers and the connections they have with other people.

I'm a bit curious how we are all doing with SU.

My results are a bit mixed. When posting to su.pr I get almost instant traffic, but with stumbles from friends it is hit and miss. Sometimes I see older posts suddenly get a spike in traffic.

Please note that when you send me a page I will look at it and only stumble and/or review if I think it is worthwile.
If you would like me to add you as a friend (subscribe) make sure you check the "accept shares to my toolbar" also, I will do the same so we can send pages to each other.

Patrick, I just use stumbleupon and not su.pr. It is quite interesting. The past couple of months I've been getting "steady" traffic, nothing extraordinary. Then one weekend this month I got a huge upsurge in visitors for one of my pages which I didn't stumble. So that must mean someone else stumbled it? Since I am a casual stumbler, I really wasn't expecting this huge surge, especially on a weekend.

I am also looking for people to share some articles with, and review, thumb up, digg, delicious, facebook, myspace, etc.

Anyone who wants to trade a few links is welcome to PM me on here and we can add eachother as friends on StumbleUpon, Digg, or whatever. We can help eachother out by sharing eachothers pages. It certainly helps drive more traffic when its not always the author submitting their own stories.
