Yes, I have it, and yes, it can be, depending on your goals. What do you want to do with your web site?

If you're looking to just start a blog where you can share personal thoughts, then you don't need SBI.

If you're looking to start a possible business, then SBI might be helpful.

Well, I would like to start a blog, but I know nothing of HTML, on how to build a website from scratch...

My passions consist of health, spirituality, music, movies, and sports, I love reading and writing...

I've just read rich dad, poor dad and I have developed an interest in sales and marketing as well...

I want to start a business, but I have no products, so I'm thinking a blog is my best start up option...

I'm into a organic way of living and I do not mean eating habits...

It is more based around natural products such as soaps, lotions, incense and candles, however I do not make any of these products but I know of some great websites where you can purchase these items in bulk for decent prices...

Okay.

Sites like Wordpress.com make it very easy to start a blog and start posting. You may want to do this at first, for free.

Later on, if you want to pursue building your own dedicated web site and domain, you may consider SBI. They give you all the tools you need to build your web site (no HTML required, though you'll naturally pick some up along the way). They also teach you how to market your web site, how to pick the best interest for your web site to pursue, and how to make money from your web site.

I hope this helps!

Hi Infinite7

I recommend using SBI if you want to build a successful web business that earns money. The reason being that it includes everything, including the software so you don't have to worry about finding things or figuring things out. You get it all in one place, with a step-by-step guide so you can focus on growing your site.

You don't have to learn coding and complicated technical stuff all at the same time.

If you're the kind who likes to get technical or tinker under the hood, get the SBI education under your belt, get your business going, then tinker with the technical stuff after you get going.

You'll learn alot of the technical by as a result of learning SBI anyway.

Hope this helps!

I heartily recommend SBI. I started with SBI in June not quite 6 months now and my traffic has steadlily increased monthly, from 2 uniques in June to over 20 now (Dec 11). And the best thing I don't pay for my traffic-it's all organic (SEOs, directories, forums, blogs, etc)

It's not a get rich scheme but SBI lays out the entire process, from choosing your niche site, to the day to day things you need to be doing in the 10 days action guide.

Remember to treat it like a business which it is.

SBI is perfect for the beginner who is motivated to start their own income-generating website. It explains EVERYTHING, holding your hand the whole way, and when you're done, you should be earning hundreds if not thousands of dollars per month from your hobby infosite.

Have you read Steve's SBI review? This is the article that got me started on web building...

I highly recommend it.

I use SBI, you can check out my site through the link below. Also there are a bunch of threads on the forum that go into detail about SBI, it's worth checking them out.

My reason for using SBI was that I knew nothing about websites. Using SBI was like taking a beginners course on how the web works and how to create an online stream of income, which is pretty cool. It would have taken me forever to learn everything by myself.

Now I feel very confident and if I started another site, I would be able to put all I've learned to use with free and low cost tools, not that SBI is expensive. For me it was more than worth it and my site not only pays for itself, but makes me money too.

If you have specific questions ask away and I'll answer as best as I can.

Question Can SBI also help to spread a message and to break it down in understandable pieces?

Someone I know is a specialist on a complex, highly controversial topic that is not widely known (=so new/unknown that people don't search for it the way it is currently wrapped).

His main intention is to spread his research, not to make money (though he wouldn't mind creating a business from it, but he is more an incredibly gifted scientist than a business man).

Could SBI help him find out how he can break down his specialist knowledge into little pieces understandable for everybody, and how to link it to every day topics? (=marketing his research in a way that attracts the right people to it)

Or would the SBI process mainly lead him to conclude that no matter what difference his research would make to the world if it was widely known, if the leading scientists are not open to even listen to him and everybody else has a hard time understanding the complexity of the topic, he should just give up and become a specialist on a more popular subject?

It's a tricky question because we don't know the specifics of your friend's niche. My interpretation is that SBI CAN help him form a site blueprint which involves researching the best keywords based on demand-supply-profitability stats - which would probably be very useful if he's looking for a new way to package the idea. He would also get help allocating his keywords into specific articles among three tiers:

Tier 1 = homepage
Tier 2 = main categories (menu buttons)
Tier 3 = tightest articles, stemming from tier 2s

SBI will also teach him how to write for the web, using a pre-selling writing technique which builds credibility with the reader. As to marketing his novel idea, that really depends how he interprets the SBI marketing lessons. Of course, SBI can't give him any specific advice on, say, applying a new mathematical theory to popular culture. But if he has the ideas that will appeal to his niche audience, SBI will certainly help him organize them and present them in a way that appeals most to web surfers.

I'm interested in what you say here - is he feeling a little deflated about his idea already? Why are scientists ignoring him - is the idea fundamentally flawed or is it just because he hasn't figured out a good way to present the information yet? Does he need money to fund his research? Has he figured out any profitable applications?

Without knowing what the concept is, I would still say there is plenty of potential to develop a site based on a theory - even if it's not scientifically proven yet. For instance, there are personal development techniques used today that work wonders for people but aren't backed by scientific studies. Usually this is because the creators lack the knowledge or contacts to get formal scientific backing. Yet their methods are still successful and they have made profitable websites from them. Could your friend fit into this group?

If he truly believes in his idea, he should pursue it and not give up. That's what I think. No risk = no reward. The only way SBI will push him down a dead end is if it creates the opportunity for him to properly analyze his idea and he then finds holes in it. Or he could ditch the idea now and forever wonder: what if?!

SBI will not tell him his niche will fail just because it isn't scientifically backed. The concept of SBI is sharing information on your hobby, passion or area of expertise - regardless of what Wikipedia might say about it - it's YOUR passion. As long as he can relate it to profitable keywords and monetization options (which SBI focuses on) then he can make a go of it.

So... what's the idea anyway - can we have a hint?

Yes,

get small webspace on the Internet and a domain domain domain register then get a template online or create one.

Then once you've got your website up on your niche build back links to your website and that's the way you build traffic

Thumbs up

I signed up with SBI in September 09 after doing a lot of checking and humming and arring.

I´d have to say I´m glad I did go with them, I have found them to be true to their word.

My website is still in its early days yet but it is going exactly the way they said it would. The search engines have indexed a lot of my pages and people are finding them through keywords and images.

I have high hopes for the future.

But more importantly it is nice to do business with people you can trust and believe. These day there are a lot of companies on the net who will tell you anything to get your business but after that you find things are not so good.

So far my experience with Site Build it has been a positive one, also the people on the forums are very helpful too.

I would recommend them, and I don´t do that often.
