 |  How to get blog posts to create forum threads?
Sorry this is a little off topic, not trying to disrupt anything I swear.  I've been searching for a mod or how Steve setup his blog/forum to automatically create a forum post when he publishes a new blog. It's driving me crazy! I've posted on the phpbb and wordpress forums and no one has been able to help me. I've been Googling for a long time and also could not come across anything. Idk if it a custom modification Steve made, but I'd appreciate it if anyone is able to help me out!It's also nifty how the comments have been replaced with a link to the forum... Another blog that does that can be seen here... so people obviously know how to do it! |

Your forum runs on the phpbb software while Steve uses vBulletin. I think that this is a feature that vBulletin supports natively but it might also have been a plugin. I'm pretty sure that it isn't a custom modification. You can put any RSS feed into the thing and afterwards it creates new threads for each feed item. phpBB • View topic - [2.0.6] FIND - Forum Integrated News Delivery - Input could be the right plugin for phpBB. |
