Post How to attract people to click the ads

Hello everyone..
I've been having this problem for a little while now
And thought that asking the experts "you guys" is the best solution ever.
Here is My Blog
I truly want to know what's the best way to encourage people "without" violating the terms of agreements which I signed ..

Any tips, ideas, advice, or personal experiences are highly appreciated..

Awaiting...

The only one would be to insert a hidden message in your posts, or simply tell your visitors how you are trying to make a living out of your blog. But I think that will backfire, because it will show people you are actually worried that you will not succeed, plus you will involve them in your behind-the-scenes work that should not interest them. If you just provide content and get huuge traffic, than there will be enough visitors to click anyway.

I blend the Adsense into key areas of the website, in addition to the 'obvious' places.

For example, check out one of my sites here: Christmas Stories of All Kinds - Inspirational, Funny, Short, Childrens, and more!

You'll notice at the top is an adsense linklist that blends in well with the menu above it and the graphic below it. This has been a good money spot for me.

Then look on the right in the "Navigation" pane and you'll see some Adsense links. Generally speaking, Adsense vertical links in a menu area do reasonably well.

If you look at an individual post, you'll see the obvious top-left space filled with Adsense... this is a profitable location, generally speaking.

But then I do something really curious. If you go down and look at the 'Related Posts' section, there's another Adsense vertical link box just next to it.

During the peak holiday season I made about $15/day from this site. I think I could make more from it if I hadn't created the site only two months before Christmas.... so hopefully next year I'll see even more Adsense revenue from it.

Anyway, that should give you some ideas on placements that might provide more cash.

I really like your site which is very congruent- is it a wordpress template? As regards ad clicks is it better to attract traffic or readership first before placing ads?

I bought the unlimited license to the Wordpress Dream Theme template (link as at the bottom of my site) and then I hired somebody on RentaCoder.com for $100 to do the graphics and CSS.

I also use the same Wordpress Dream Theme template over at Spiritual Stories Blog - and as you can see, different graphics and CSS... but fundamentally the same approach. The only difference is this site is built exclusively for listbuilding purposes... monetization is merely a bonus or afterthought.

As far as traffic vs. monetization, usually my #1 focus is building the mailing list... so I always have optins, on-exit popups, etc, before I will ever market a site or put content on it.

As for ads and other things, I also monetize before I build my site. Might as well have the opportunity for revenue from day 1 instead of waiting. The site you're looking at basically looked that way before I ever had a visitor.

For a general rule of thumb, I decide whether a particular site's priority is revenue or listbuilding. If it's listbuilding, then I run very little (or no) Adsense. If it's monetization, then you'll see something more like my Christmas stories site where the Adsense is everywhere and very well blended into the design.
