Over the last year I've gotten really big into using keyboard shortcuts and I'm amazed at how much more quickly I can fly around the computer now. I also learned how to use Quicksilver on a Mac and love that for quickly switching between apps without having to go for the mouse. What I'm wondering is whether anything exists that temporarily disables the mouse to basically force you to learn keyboard shortcuts and other ways to navigate "mouse-lessly". Ideally something where the mouse would be disabled and you'd have do something to actually re-enable it anytime you want to use the mouse. After having something like that going for a few days my guess is that you'd have learned most of the remaining shortcuts? Please let me know if any of you have ever come across something like this. Thanks!! |

Unplug the chord? Or are you talking about the trackpad on your laptop? In that case, read this: macosxhints.com - Completely disable trackpad touches while typing |
