I want to get into creating the music for online games... Is there anywhere i can list myself to get work going this?
Any forums for game developers it would be a good idea for me to join?

You might want to check out Game Audio Network Guild - HOME. If you're serious about making music for games, they're a great bunch to be amongst (lots of respected industry pros on the forums).

Other websites you should check are GameDev.net - all your game development needs and Gamasutra - The Art & Business of Making Games. There's also a large community of indie game developers over at Game Development Tools And Software :. GarageGames

yeah, im looking into making music for games not as a specific goal to market my music but just as another way to get my music and name out there. I am serious about doing this. I noticed your a musician... love you rmusic btw! Did you ever do music for games?
if so how did you find it helped you?

Yeah, i guess its differnt for me as the performance part isnt the most important thing to me. The important thing to me is getting into peoples heads feeding them with new emotions. And i'm really not bothered how i get that out there.

Well, you'll have to remember that music for games (and films too) isn't as much about getting into people's heads as it is about enhancing the mood of the game/film.
