Blogging problem....help!!! IT'S URGENT

CAVEAT:::Please realize that am I know absolutely nothing about blogs and am just beginning to stretch my ability and knowledge concerning the tech world..


I created a blog using the 3 simple step Google thingy and now I dont know how to set- up a comment box (like this one) so that interested readers can post their comments. am totally confused...does one need to sign into the blog with the email address & password i used to set-up the blog?, do they (readers) have to have their own Gmail accounts to sign in?, how does one contribute to the discussion if there is no comment box? how do i use adsense and googlegroups in my blog. Please help...am purple in the face with frustration.

You're probably using Blogger.

Login to your account, go to the 'Settings' tab, and look for "Comments". There are various options there, these include options like:

(1) no one is allowed to comment

(2) only people you've specifically selected are permitted to comment; they have to login using their own passwords

(3) moderation is on (people can comment, but the comments won't appear until you've clicked to approve them)

(4) anyone can comment, including anonymous readers, and their comments will appear instantly

(5) readers can only comment if they already have a certain account (eg Gmail, Blogger, Livejournal etc) and they login first.
