Default Can i view my domains email through google email?

I have a site registered with one.com also made my domain email address dwii@(my domain) and created a google account with it.
Problem is the one.com mailbox isn't very good i would much prefer to view it through my google account using mail. I have found out about google apps, but it seems for that you have to create a separate google account also i am having trouble associating my domain email with it.
Could anyone help me?
Thanks.

Yes you can. You have to make a google apps account like you thought. But it's no big deal, you can add your old account to your new apps account if I remember correctly.

You can also use googles pop3 service to get the emails from one.com into your google account.

You first set-up your google apps account here: http://www.google.com/a/cpanel/domain/new

Then you have to modify your MX records for the domain: http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/...n&answer=33352

Then, if you want to access your email in a url like this: mail.yourdomain.com, you need to set up a CNAME record: http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/...n&answer=53340

I am not sure how your DNS control panel from one.com looks like, but it should allow the above modifications.

You can also setup an email redirect with your one.com account, direct all email to gmail, and setup gmail to send out email as that account. I've got like six accounts like this, all going to one account. This is the easiest option of the mentioned above, methinx.

1. Log into your domain or mail account manager, and setup a redirect to your gmail address.

2. In gmail, go to Settings, under Accounts, Add another email address. Follow the prompts. You may want to set the option:
"When receiving a message:
Reply from the same address the message was sent to"

Enjoy!
