| I use bluehost in the USA and loswebos in the German speaking world - both have all the necessary functionality, are reliable and very reasonably priced.

| Hi, I was looking for a better hosting plan when I stumbled upon this thread, when I checked out Dream Host I saw that they have a limited birthday special which will give you unlimited disk and unlimited transfer volume. Currently there are only very few such accounts left, so you better hurry. I already signed up and really like what I'm seeing so far. __ Gunsou PS: I just created a promo code, so if you enter BETTERSETUP you can get $50 off (Thats the setup fee). Update: I moved my website from the godaddy servers to dreamhost yesterday and now it runs about ten times faster. It also seems that some limits have been released or are at least loosened up. I can't talk about performance under load though, because the site is still under development. I will now try to setup SVN to manage the source of my website. | I do recommend DreamHost. Their standard price is $119.40/year, but by using the promo code DISCOUNT50PROMO at sign up page and get the $50 discount + %10 extra disk space. This way you get them for $69.40/year instead of $119/year. You can use their huge Disk Space and host unlimited number of sites on a single panel. Go to the site dreamhost.com/hosting.html and enter the promo code DISCOUNT50PROMO Price: $5.78/month ($69.40/year) Disk space: 500 GB+%10= 550GB Bandwidth: 5000 GB Unlimited domains and subdomains 1 free domain % 99.9 reliable Last edited by leyli2008 : 10-12-2008 at 04:08 PM. |
