Default Emails not arriving in Gmail?

Several emails sent to me from different senders did not arrive in my inbox, (not in all mail, spam, or trash either, and no error message to them)

Has never happened before this past week, when have had this problem with several different senders. (also am currently ouside of the US)

Google troubleshoot doesn't really have an answer.

What could be going on?

Check your filters.

Not the filters either. Also this account filters go to 'all mail' anyways.

Hmm.

They don't always goto all mail. Messages from certain people or containing certain keywords could be marked as read, labeled, archived, forwarded or deleted.

If that's not the issue, I'm not sure what it could be. How sure are you that they are sending the message to the correct email address?

If you have a secondary email address on yahoo or msn, or through your ISP -- have the sender forward the sent message to both accounts. Then you will be able to confirm either that 1. They are sending to the wrong gmail address or 2. They sent to the correct gmail address and it really didn't show up.

Right, none of the folders contain their messages, and not in any forward-to addresses either.

Have received emails from them before, and they always use auto fill or reply-to.

Yes will probably ask them to reply to 2 addresses right now.

anyways, thanks!!

I can happen that an email address wander to a blacklist that prevents anyone from receiving emails from that address.
There on way to be blacklisted as receiver of information.
