I'm looking to start a forum for a project I'm working on. I'm mostly debating between PHPBB and VBulletin. Price isn't a major issue, though it is definitely a small factor. Whichever I use though, I really would be interested in being able to interface with it eventually so that users created in the main part of the site could perhaps be created in the forum, and vice versa. Is this any easier with either of the above? In general, which would you recommend? If you know of something better, I'm open to suggestions. |

I discovered that symfony actually has a simple forum plugin. I'll just use that, and modify it to my needs, I think. It integrates with the user plugin, too, which I can modify to include whatever data I need.
