Angry why can you use googled images on a youtube video but not your website

I know you can take pics from google and put them in to a video that you put on youtube for example if you want to make a video of... your favorate foods and use pics.. noone gets into trouble for doing this.. But i know you cant just take pics from google and use them for your website becuase its illigal.. why is this? I dont get it.. It doesnt make scence!

If you do not have permission from the copyright holders, you cannot (legally) use those images in your website or YouTube videos. There is no difference. Both uses constitute a copyright infringement.

Safe choice: don't use images you Googled!

(instead, head over to Flickr and search for CC-licensed imagery there...)

Orange: Try to spell check your messages before posting and make them coherent. Otherwise you to some extent give the impression that you are a spammer.

You could rephrase your message to something like this:

"Why can you use material from google image search on youtube without reprocaution when you risk legal threats due to copyright infringement when posting the same content on your website? This deeply confuses me and i cannot comprehend it no matter how hard i try".

This is quite funny and I just had to respond. What in the %$^*! does reprocaution mean?

Wait...did you mean:, "...you give the impression, to some extent, that you are a spammer"?

Maybe you could rephrase your recommendation to say something like this:

Orange, when you post messages with spelling and punctuation errors, I get the impression you are a spammer. Perhaps you could take a little extra time to spell and grammar check your message and read over it at least once before posting it

Don't forget the period at the end of your sentence!

Oh--and maybe you meant "repercussions" when you wrote "reprocaution"? Sounding it out that way makes some sense.

Talking Nice Catch

Isn't that funny? I'm sure I put a period there at some point. I wonder where it went.

Well, I'm sure that you are given leeway all the time if this is the case.

However, that makes it even more funny that you are grammar checking someone else's post. I had no trouble deciphering what the original poster meant.

Cheers,
Michele

If you would like to use pictures or music or something else that was made by someone else in a legal way, why don't you just look at all the creative people that want to share their things with you.
CC: Read what it is about and look if this community could help you.

Creative Commons

I would like to add an example.
On flickr in the advanced search you can even select only the cc pictures.

Your rephrasing is MUCH more difficult for me to understand than the original post.
