| Does anyone know what Steve's favicon is? Is that little Tribble looking thing supposed to be consciousness?

| Interesting question. I always assumed that it was one of the creatures from a game he made back in his Dexterity days.

| It reminds me of "Grimace" You know the purple guy from McDonalds... |
| |||
| It's actually the character Dweep from the game Dweep Gold. He's sort of a ball of fur with two legs. I want to replace the favicon with something better... just haven't had time to do it yet. The cute character at least stands out in feedreaders, so I figured it was a step up from nothing. If anyone here wants to take a stab at making something better, feel free. |

| I'm eventually going to have a logo designed that includes a pair of wings, so that might be a good image. Other options would be a letter "P" or a tiny "Pav." But I'm open to pretty much anything. |
| |||
| Wings might be interesting... Question: When you say wings, could you give me a style of wings (butterfly, bird, abstract, angel). |
| |||
| Eagles wings actually, but at that size they'll be hard to discern anyway. |
| |||
| I think your right... O.K. Well, let me ponder it for a bit... |
| |||
| Ahhh, the good old P-Wings... Too bad they're copyrighted. I wonder if we can talk to the makers of Super Mario 3 and get written permission.

| I wish you could go with the Mario P wing. Too bad it's copywrighted.

| A favicon is the little icon in front of the http:// in your address bar and in your bookmarks/favorites (provided your browser displays it). it's the little purple guy |

| How ironic, I started a thread (Invasion of the Purple Tribbles) and thought the same thing! Eaglewings is a great idea, Steve. Reminds me something... But those who hope in the LORD Will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; They will run and not grow weary, They will walk and not be faint. ~ Isaiah 40:31 |

| Hmmmmm wings are a bit too cliche. You've got the Red Bull advertisements that have wings and lets face it, Red Bull isn't one of the most healthiest drinks in the world! I like the idea of a "P" better or how about "SP" but designed in a way that overlaps or interconnect the two letters SP could stand for: Steve Pavlina, Smart People.

| "Don't change it" - seconded. An icon will take on meaning of its own, given enough power, and yours will become identifiable in its own good time. PS - what the hell is Grimace, anyway? I mean, you've got the hamburgular to represent burgers, the little french-fry dudes, the chicken girl - is Grimace the purple wobbly bits that McDonalds meat is made of? Or is he a relic from when McDonalds were doing LiverBurgers or something?
