Default Palm Pilot?

Hi,
A friend of mine couldn't put a .pdf on his Palm Pilot. I can get just the text in a .txt or .doc file. Is that what he would need to get onto a Palm Pilot?
thanks,

Stephen

You need an extra Program, the standart (free one) is Adobe - Reader: Adobe Reader for Palm OS . That program also coverts the .pdf into a .pdb to safe space on the palm.
