| Hello everybody. I am new to building blogs, so I humbly come to you asking for your help. I just started a self-hosted blog Growing Into You. I would love for reviews of my website, it's design, or anything else you can think of. You all have much more experience as to what makes a good blog, so I value your feedback. I plan on writing 4+ articles a week. I look forward to any feedback. Tad Growing Into You: Growing into a better person |

| Also, if somebody could explain how to efficiently tag articles I would appreciate it. Does adding tags really benefit how many people view my blog? I appreciate any feedback that you can give me. Tad Growing Into You: Growing into a better person |

| Design: Your design is simple, wich means that it's polyvalent, wich is a good thing. But i would have added a cherry on top of the cake. A graphic, or even better, a flash movie would look great above your menu. I would have aligned the menu with the left side of the blog's main body and wouldn't have chosen the same color as the background for the rollover, but that's just me. Code: Your content and copyright meta tags are empty, wich isn't a good thing. Add a few more keywords in your meta tags, I am sure that there is more main points to your blog than just ''wordpress themes''. Although be carefull, search engines will penalise you if you add to many. Also, you have 97 code errors in your mark up validation test : Validation Results - W3C Markup Validator I suggest you change your DOCTYPE from XHTML 1.0 transitional to HTML 4.1 transitional Just by changing the doctype you will eliminate 34 errors. As for the rest, it will take some time to correct but it's worth it. If you haven't already done it, create yourself a google webmaster acccount. You will be able to find much more information there about any other issues your website might have. Sorry if i might sound harsh...i joined the forums to improve my communication skills. Sincerely, Tea of Doom
