New Blogger, Need Minor Help...

hello guys, what i am looking to do is have a introduction post on my blog which tells people about the blog, but at the minute, its in order of most recent posts. i would appreciate it if anyone could help me out and tell me how i could do this?

and i also wanted to know if this would have a negative effect on my blogs success.

also the url is in my sig, so it would be kool if people could give me pointers, i know ive got a long way to go and im just starting.

What do you want to do with the order of your recent posts? I would recommend against changing it from WordPress' default - because that is what people expect.

Sideline: "The artist formerly known as Prince" is most definitely not a has been musician, as your blog on Band Names states. Not by every meaningful definition of the phrase. You did research his reason for adopting the TAFKAP moniker, right?

i wasnt implying that he changed his name for seo if thats what ur thinking, i was just giving an example of how different the results are between the 2 names.

yes i did read on wiki about how he got the name, it says it was an alternate name for love symbol given by a journalist, i think it was that anyways.

pretty stupid of me to put has been artist, i guess i was just tryna be funny, im fairly young and not a fan of princes either, but il probably change that remark soon

aside from my articles [im a n00b and i know theres alot of work to be done] is there any major problems with the blog?

Yes, but he stopped using the name 'Prince' because of the legal battle that was fought between him and his record label over the creative control of 'his' music.

You should, because it suggests your being pretty naive about the music business - which is kind of at odds with the aim of your blog.

Your being a fan of Prince or not has nothing to do with his critical or commercial success. As a newcomer and, quite frankly, nobody in the music industry (which isn't a shame btw - I still fall in the same category), it suits you well to respect that.

The blog is fine, although a little light on content - both in quantity and quality.

Your goal is commendable, but I think you need to gain a fair bit of experience (direct or indirect) before you are really qualified to give advice to other musicians about furthering their career.

Just keep that in mind for now and keep at it!
