Nice! Although it looks like your design doesn't quite render correctly in my browser (Safari): there is about a 10px white border on the right side of your header (all the way down to the bottom).

Also, the animated gifs are commandeering a little too much of my attention.

But otherwise, it's really nice. And stop fussing about the header!

Jim, jim, jim, don't you know animated gifs are all the rage in the scrapbooking world?

Seriously, normally I would agree with you but animated gifs in the scrapping world is huge!!!!

Yeah I know about that pixel thing. I can't figure it out, will have to get the developer I work with to fix it up

How come I never get much feedback on my sites? Is it because my sites are feminine? Come on I give people feedback on their sites

I think it looks great. I would remove the words "scrappity blog" from the header. It does the same thing as the home button...

Nice header design...

Beautiful Ellie! You are a talented artist and designer, and it comes through on your site design. Nicely done!

As the husband of a scrapaholic, and also as a professional photographer for the last 15 years, I've seen a lot of scrapbooking-related stuff, and lots of BAD Photoshop and Illustrator stuff. It's nice to see some good work being done out there!

I agree, remove "scrappity blog" below your header. It's unnecessary and detracts from your design.

Also - I don't see the need for you to get more "cotton-candy-ish" with your header. In fact, I think it has a good balance of fun with nostalgia...a perfect feeling to fit scrapbooking.

Oh thanks for all your nice feedback. I lurve it, give me more...give me more!!!

I agree about the "scrappity blog too", but I need it there for the moment so it, shows up in the top title bar. Otherwise it just says Firefox, which won't make it as searchable on google. I know there's some code that I probably could hack, but aggghhh, I can't be bothered. Where's my programmer? he he!

Actually I am a designer by trade kpugh and I want to bring my skills to scrapbooking, so people can improve their layouts. I actually was getting involved with it, to help out some friends who wanted to share their layouts so I started a forum for them, but now I can see that it can be good for me as well. Especially pushing my photoshop skills. It's actually pushed me more creatively in a long time. Even starting the forum, has been such an eye opener and it's great way for me to improve my marketing skills. Who would of thought?
