Default Personal Development Software

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, nice meeting everyone.

Steve Pavlina had been the most influential person in my life and had inspired me to dedicate my life to the field of personal development.

As a web developer, I've always been thinking of ways to develop an online application that would help people grow and live consciously. After months of thinking, I realised that there are very little aspects of personal development that can be assisted using software (goal management, planning, time management, logging, journaling).

There may be aspects that I might had left out while brainstorming..

If you could have a software that would help you in your personal growth, how would you like it to be?

Maybe your thinking is too specific. While the invention of blogging isn't particularly for PD, it has enabled people to grow.

Specifically you could do a PD specific social networking site? Or an extension an existing social site? Imagine that you had access to this forums database, couldn't you could aggregate and integrate this into a PD social network?

Aren't forums a bit old tech anyway. Social networks are far far behind their potential though and still suck in a lot of ways.

You could make a video or even live video site, where people could do live PD. The social pressure would REALLY encourage people to grow.

You've heard of 43things.com? That's a sort of PD/web appy site. Frankly, I think it could be extended or made over.
