Default A site to help with the website development process

Many websites that explain the how-to process only give a small amount of information such as single statements like: get a host, buy a domain, create content and upload your site. I wanted to create a site that helps others by providing them with information on the ways to develop a website.

The site is titled abundantarticles - your website development resouce.

I designed the website to be a single source of information on everything from designing a website to launching and maintaining it. The site itself is far from complete. I won't add information on a particular topic until I use the technique or guidline myself and since I am learning new things every day and trying them out, I should be able to add content on a fairly frequent basis.

The information should be used as a guideline because each situation is unique. It is completely up to you as a visitor to make an educated decision about whether or not the information in a particular category applies to your website project.

I hope that this site can help answer many of the questions people have and possibly give insight into things that someone new to web design might not have even thought to ask about.

Let me know what you think - the comments and suggestions on this forum have always helped me make decisions on which elements of my site that might need to be changed.

Sincerely,

Cadman

Your site is quite nicely put together and very well written. Perhaps a few more bullets and bold text would help along with images though.

Also directing the users to the resources they can use for each sub topic and a checklist would make this a really top notch starter guide.

Well done.

Thumbs up

Interesting idea. Looks like you are coming along well with your site's progress.

Keep up the good work. I personally don't enjoy all of the google ads and feel that you have too many. I also would rather see your categories in a horizontal layout beneath your header image instead of on the right side.

Best wishes,

Andrew

Default Thank You

Thank you for your comments, suggestions and support. I am in the process of making a pdf checklist for visitors to use during their development process. Andrew, I am tracking the ads and after a period of time the ones that do not perform will be removed from the format. That process alone will help to streamline the site. Again, thank you for your advice.

Sincerely,

Cadman
