Question Energy crisis

Energy Crisis

The on going debate as oil is sucked out of the ground at a $100 dollars a barrel. Is this the future of energy or is it a peak and trough situation where peaks are getting higher but wages aren’t. Will oil wells run dry before new reservoirs of this all demanding and much needed fossil fuel hick fuel prices so high that to run your car now costs more than the car itself. Where people huddle together, with all weather gear in there living rooms watching MTV, dancing about to keep warm. Where high powered states switch off countries who wont pay the bills for there heating.

There is the open debate about old technologies such the nuclear fission generators. With the new fusion reactors fast being built in the hope of more reliable cheaper cleaner forms of energy. So which is it going to be that is my question. Anyone have a good idea about these differing technologies would love to hear.

Neither.....hopefully. The way forward is wind, solar and geothermal......not nuclear.
