Default Help with Width of my Site

I have this annoying problem on my site. A wide scroll bar appears on the bottom as if my site is really wide. The width of my middle frame is 964px, but for some reason it still shows the site as being wider then that. Anyone know why this happens to my site?

I'm stumped.

Try this:

Change the #top_bar & #top_bar_text CSS to the following....

Code:
56 /* WIDE BAR ACROSS WHOLE PAGE UP TOP */
57  #top_bar { display: inline; color: white; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 964px; float: left; background: #555555 url("http://www.inspiredmoneymaker.com/graphics/blockdefault.gif") center center repeat-x; height: 30px}
58  #top_bar_text { display: inline; margin-top: 3px; float: left; }
(Lines 56-58 of your main stylesheet)

Give you a tip......grab the Web Developer toolbar for Mozilla Firefox. It lets you outline block level elements (DIV's & P's) to diagnose these types of problems. I could see the #top_bar_text DIV stretching out the right side of the page (forcing it wider than it needed to be), narrowing it down to that CSS.

=)

A bit off-topic, but I like your logo. It's all red, and glowy, and... red. Pushes all my buttons.

I used to play with Photoshop a lot. Haven't done it in a long time though. When I went to design this one I experimented with a bunch of tutorials on the Internet for new photoshop features. It was fun. I created like 5 or 6 logo's. The only problem is that when you know how they are made they don't look as good to you. It's weird. So I had to ask my wife which one is the best one and she picked that one.

Everyone else seems to like it too, so I guess she picked the right one. To me, the waves on the left kind of symbolize thought waves in the universe manifesting into the word INSPIRED which then manifests into MONEY MAKER.

Glad it pushes your buttons. I used red, because fire is my favorite element.

Dammit, I had it up to 47 subscribers yesterday and it dropped to 43 today. I need to get 7 more subscribers to bump it up above 50 or Yaro Sterak is going to yell at me!
