Default MovieMaker importing vids upside down & backwards

Not sure if I've ever seen this before, but maybe someone here has.

Recently I downloaded a TV show from a torrent site and imported it into Microsoft Movie Maker so I can edit out the commercials, etc. But when I imported it into the program, the video comes out as upside down and backwards. WTF??

Anyone ever seen this before? How do I go about fixing it?

Probably your current codecs don't know how to properly decode the vid. Downloading and installing a newer codec pack might solve your problem.

Well, I don't know about fixing the going backward thing, but as for the video being upside down, you could always put your monitor upside down.

Ohhh, that kind of backward. I thought you had meant backward as in the movie starts the the end and goes toward the beginning. Well in that case, with the mirror, consider your problem solved for now
