| It took a long time, and help from many people including those on Steve's forums. I had previously been posting in the business category dealing with some naming issues, but I believe I have them resolved. If any of you would like to see my site it is AbundantEbooks : : Find Great Items at Huge Discounts and any criticisms/suggestions are greatly apprecited. Sincerely, Cadman

| There is some tough competition in e-book distribution. Amazon could jump in anytime too.

| Hi Cadman. Took a look at your site and am duly impressed. Now, I don't have any experience with oscommerce so I can't really speak to that. I did notice though that there isn't a way to select Canadian funds on the drop down menu... Wondering about the pricing too. Most of the ebooks come in at just a couple of bucks. How did you come up with the pricing structure? |

| Congratulations on the passive income. It's a dream many of us have.

| Canadian funds have been added. I missed putting the conversion rate in and turning on that currency. Thank you for pointing it out. As far as coming up with pricing - I did alot of research on the net - about 2.5 weeks worth and then with inquiries on what was selling for what prices, I came up with mine. It definitely was not easy, but I in no way set it up to be a get rich quick thing. Strictly passive and as the time progresses I intended on adding more content and features that might help others in doing the same thing. The problem is when you make something sound super easy to do and offer it at a reasonable price - people tend to think of it as another get rich quick site - not my plan. I would just like to show people that if I can do it, so can someone else. BTW I am such a newbie at this stuff and that is why it took so long for me to get it running right before I actually made it go live. Sincerely, Cadman

| cadman, Great job on getting your site up and running, I can tell it took a lot of time and effort, and from a technical standpoint it seems to work very well! Forgive me for being a bit critical, but I'm hoping you can take it as constructive criticism. I don't think I'd buy a single item on your site for the simple fact that there's just not enough info about the books for me to trust them and use them. I don't care how cheap the ebook is, I'm not going to buy a 2 dollar book on how to use hypnosis if I don't even know who the author of the book is, and at least a summary of the book and why it can help and why it's credible. I'm not just going to buy a book because it's cheap and it's on your site. I need a reason, a description, a compelling argument. Maybe some credentials of the author and why they are qualified to write the book, or at least what it will do for me if I read it. Like for example, if I want to get rich and click on your "Get Rich" tab, then I see this book: Quote:
That just makes me go... huh? I'm not going to buy that, and even if someone gave it to me for free I probably wouldn't read it if I was serious about getting rich because how can I trust the information in the book without knowing anything about it? This happens all over the site, with virtually all the products listed. These may be incredible books with loads of great info and well worth their price many times over. But as it stands right now as a first time visitor to the site, I wouldn't trust any of the info, and would not buy or use any of the books. That's my honest opinion, and I'm telling you it because I want you to succeed, and I don't think just telling you "good job" is going to help. Best of luck to you, I wish you nothing but the success. |

You now have Master Resale Rights to this Product. Please read the guidelines below that you MUST follow. YES - Master Resale Rights YES - Can be included in Membership Site YES - Can be Packaged with other products YES - Can be given away as BONUS YES - Sales Page can be edited but you MAY NOT remove the disclaimer. I have made sure that all the products I am listing have their resell rights. Since this is my first attempt, having legal issues is the last thing I need to deal with. As far as the constructive criticism goes - I accept all of it. The only way I am going to succeed is if I don't have blinders on. The input I receive helps get rid of the personal bias because sometimes when you are working on something for 16 hours straight, the thought process goes out the door. I will try to go through each book and display author info, etc. I will see if I can maybe put the first chapter in the description to help give the potential customer a little better idea of what's in the book. Again as always, thank you all for your input and support. Sincerely, Cadman

| My biggest issue with the site is that as soon as I look at it, I recognise many of the books as resell rights books that can often be found for free if you know where to look! Now I guess there are lots of people out there who have never been interested in any form of Internet marketing or similar, and for whom the books would all be new. But even so, I would still suggest that it might be a good idea to perhaps divide the books up into niches better? I guess having tried my hand at internet marketing for awhile, I am skeptical about the level of success you will have with this site. Nevertheless, good luck in proving me wrong!! |
