how can i download youtube video clip

hello to all,

actually i wanted to know that how can i download the youtube video clip on my computer hard disk. there are various tools are available. i try some but they did not work. and Download Youtube Video. Just add 'Kiss'! Keep It Super Simple. - KissYouTube is also not working right now.

actually i get a list of some empowering clip on you tube and i wanted to download it on my computer.

can any body help me to give me the direction towards the right tools.

Youtube Video Downloader - flv to 3gp, flv to mp4, flv to ipod

It downloads the file as a *.flv file, but then you can go ahead and change the extension of the file to *.avi as well.

so i cannot able to download the clip from this addon. can you tell me another alternative which you find useful for you.

Hmmm, I've never had that problem downloading from YouTube with that extension.

I just tried copying and pasting the URL to the video into an online video VideoDownloader and it reported a bad video ID, but this site (KEEPVID) doesn't seem to have a problem.

http://lax-v222.lax.youtube.com/get_...id=fKbekY6srtI - this link here is a direct link to download the YouTube clip you want using KeepVid. NOTE It will download a file called "get_video.flv". What you need to do is rename that file to something more relevant and you will also need to download a FLV video player or codec.

Here is the best way to download video from YouTube or anywhere in fact.

It's a cracking piece of software called VeohTV.

You can also use it as a standalone system.

I have watched many up to date movies on it. It has become more addictive than YouTube or my Televsion set.

if you want to download normal youtube clips then go to this site:

if you try to download something that requires you to log in, perhaps due to materials that requires you to be at a certain age, then go to this site:
http://www.downloadyoutubevideos.com/

by the way, when you finish downloading, just change the file from get_video.html to something.flv, its important that you have the flv extension.

You will also need to get the flv player to watch your dowloaded clips, here's the site:

and if you for some reason want to convert the file to AVI, then you will have to use a converter from this site:

because you can't just change the extension from flv to avi and hope for the best, it doesn't work that way.
