I was just reading about unlocking cell phones in order to access some features that are shut down by the cell companies as well as be able to use any phone on any network. Just wondering if anyone has any links that are credible to learn how to do this? Thanks. |

Unless you are technically inclined you would need to have someone else do it (and you usually pay them, or buy a phone they have unlocked already). Generally it includes a mixture of hacking the phone's firmware and/or hacking the hardware. For situations like the iPhone - I know that is popular enough that some people have come up with automated solutions for people willing to trial and error their way through hacking the firmware. |
