| Hey all - I've got a World of Warcraft site that is currently at adrenis.blogspot.com (soon to be moved to its own site) and I recently got Adsense set up on it. My problem is gold sellers. If you're not familiar with WoW, let me explain. The in-game currency of WoW is gold pieces, and there are lots and lots of websites that will sell you in-game gold for real-life dollars. The websites have people that play the game specifically to stockpile gold and then send x amount to your character when you order some. Long story short, this is against the rules, it's considered cheating and gold sellers have (rightly) gotten a very negative reputation in the WoW community. I've noticed that some of the ads appearing on my site are for gold selling companies and I'd like to keep those ads from coming up. The problem is that I am not aware of any say that I have in what specific ads appear in the Adsense box. I glanced through the Help section but didn't find anything that looked promising. Has anyone had any experience with something like this? I'd like to hear any advice. Alternatively, are there any ad networks out there that do give webmasters more choice in the specific ads? Thanks for the help. |

| Find the url for those sites and block them with the competitive ad filter The filter is located in Adsense setup -> Competitive Ad Filter You can use spyfu.com to try and find some of the sites you want to block.
