Mixing my polarities

Hi,

Thank you Steve so much for choosing to follow your true desire and make the leap from computer games to personal development. I am a recent convert to personal development and your blogs and podcasts have been inspirational.

Like you I also made a huge carear change. My new carear is not lucrative yet. In fact it costs me money to do my job at the moment. For a long time now I have been trying to get more money in my life because if I cannot get money soon it soon I may not be able to carry on my new carear that I love.

In the polarities blogs you say that you either attract what you desire or you create what you desire. I am trying to do both. You say that we must choose a polarity. Even when i choose one I accidentally sabotage myself by unwittingly trying to attract and create. You have said these forces can cancel each other out because they are opposing forces. How do I choose between them. Must I not try and create wealth if I am trying to attract it?

I believe very much in the law of attraction and manifestation because I seem to have no problem in manifesting 'negative' things yet I struggle to manifest 'positive' things. Could you tell me how to not get caught between these polarities?

I need the freedom that money brings in order for me to do my work. How can I stop blocking myself?

Now, about your job situation... you might want to review what Tony Robbins calls, "The Ultimate Success" formula...

1) Decide what you want,
2) Take action,
3) Notice what’s working or not, and
4) Change your approach until you achieve what you want.

Now, it seems to me that you have #1 covered... you know what you want...

As to #2 (Take Action) not only do you have to take action... but you must take MASSIVE ACTION... as in, if you contact two persons a day about your product... step it up to ten or twenty if need be...

No #3 and #4(Notice what’s working or not, and change your approach until you achieve what you want.) that's what you do after working hours...

There is nothing that you cannot accomplish if you are willing to put in the efforts, time and energy... but nothing happens on its own... you are the source, the generator... the creator... the final word as to the results that you will finally obtain...

LoA is very effective... but without the above... it's dead meat... no matter how you slice the bacon...

that's not it at all.
a loving person can both attract and create. A power-hungry person can both attract and work to make it happen.
it's for example gratitude vs greed. Do you try to manifest more money in your life thinking about the good things you can do for others with them, and with loving gratitude for what you receive, or do you try to manifest more money in your life with greedy selfishness. Do you do it in a humble, loving manner with the end purpose being giving, or living a more loving life, or do you do it in a self-important manner with the purpose of having more power and stuff for yourself.

if the work you want to do is about giving to the world or improving the world in some way, if you find yourself thinking about it benefiting others, or if you think purely about the creative process itself - not focusing on what you'll have in the end -, if you think about living a loving, giving life, then you're using love energy, and you can both lovingly, gratefully receive from the universe and lovingly create.

if it's about making more money for yourself, improving your life and getting more selfish pleasure in your life, or increasing your power, if you think about the more that you will have, if you think about a life where you honor and respect yourself before all others, then you're using inflow energy, and can both work to make things for yourself and greedily receive whatever you can manifest from the world.
