Question Where do I start?

Ok I am new here and ready to soak up some new knowledge. This place is huge and I hope to read it all someday. My question is what do you think is the must read first articles, blog posting, etc. Or what is your favorites that you recomend newbies must read.

Thanks for your time

About articles and other stuff on this website i can't tell you which to read first, you must find for yourself whats best for you, because every person has different needs for knowledge.

But if you're completely new to this, i would recommend the book Think And Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill... If you haven't read it yet, do it, its a must.

My favorite article of SP.com.

I believe it's one of the most controversial but popular articles Steve has ever written.

I started by searching specifically for issues I was dealing with. In the search box, I'd put "motivation" or "organization". Once, on a down day, I put "hopeless" almost as a joke - there! Take that! To my surprise, a couple articles came up. (I think "Lightworker Syndrome" should come up with that search! That's what I was experiencing.) I looked through the "best of" list and clicked the ones that intrigued me. Often, an idea in one post would lead to another search, or he'd reference one of his earlier articles and I'd read that one.

I commend you for asking! I have to admit, I visited the site the first time, looked around, got overwhelmed, bookmarked the site, then didn't come back for a little while! Every now and then I'd click the bookmark... It wasn't until a friend posted a link to Erin's blog and I started reading that, that I began to delve into Steve's.

Happy exploring!

Firstly, this is a problem with big blogs with lots of content, especially if the titles of the posts are "clever".

Use the "archive" section where everything is listed and see which titles grab your attention.

Tags help ("motivation" is actually one of them), so use them in narrowing down your search.

Searching is the last option.

Good to see another ninja on board. Are you a runner too?

I would suggest reading whatever catches your eye under the "best of" category, and then start jumping to new blog posts based on the links at the end of them ("related blog posts"). Don't try to read it all....just allow yourself to browse through the material....that's my suggestion anyway....

It really depends on where you are in life. My favorite article is 'What lies beyond
the haze of social conditioning?' It inspired me to embrace the changes in my life that previously made me feel isolated. The one about never getting a job is good, too. The intention manifestation stuff might not leave a good impression, but his older articles on the subject are better.
