Default Funny look back on Steve's site

I've always known this site as "Personal Development for Smart People". To me, Steve Pavlina = Personal Development for Smart People.

Well, it wasn't always so. I took a look back through the wayback machine to look at earlier website to see how he had it developed. While the color scheme looks the same, a lot of things were different, including the header. Here are some of earlier headers he had:

Free Personal Development Resources
---
Time Management, Motivation, Goal Setting, Productivity
---
Personal Development Pursued Consciously
---

This bought a smile to me, so I thought I'd post and share.

Another thing I found funny was that Steve even had a page that said "If you have any links, send them to me and I'll add them to my link page"! I imagine that if had such a page now, he'd be way too overflowed

How this site has grown since those days! I can't imagine what it'll be like 20 years from now.

In less than ten years, this site will be linked with Tony Robbins... (Tony and Steve... the best on stage and the best online) and that is when the proverbial manure will hit the fan...

This combo will be an unstoppable force that could transform the world as we see it in less than another ten years...

Can't wait to see it happen...

Where do you have examples of how his site looked then? Is there a link to an old page or something?

He's definitely come a long way, if his old work was recorded by the "wayward machine".

Wow! The strangest thing....

I tapped in the URL of a company I worked at and the earliest page actually had something I'd done on it!

Thomas Cook website 1996

It was the totally naff gif at the top with the 4 photographs. I hope I've improved as a designer since then!
