| "Stranger in a Strange Land" - Robert Heinlein. Peasy. My answer to the question would probably be what I thought your blog title was; Life Lessons? Live! P.S. Is it possible to make the link in your blog post point directly to the appropriate thread, please? |

I pass out this advice to everyone, and try to live by it, as well. It comes via my Dad, who's very wise! You can't turn down what hasn't been offered. I use that advice as motivation to go after things without cutting myself off because of doubt or fear. It's always been helpful. Enjoy the workshop, everyone! |

"A friend is a stranger you haven't met (got to know) yet." My father taught me this by example. |

"If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You have another chance!" no, this one is better: "If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true were really true, there would be little hope of advance." Orville Wright my personal favorite (still on trial, don't take it for granted yet "It is a funny thing about life: if you refuse to accept anything but the best you very often get it." W. Somerset Maugham for less ambitious people: "If you can get nothing better out of the world, get a good dinner out of it, at least." Herman Melville still working on my personal message... |

"Indeed there will be time to wonder, Do I dare? and Do I dare?" - T.S. Eliot You will never run out of time to be indecisive. But if you don't dare to do something -- you'll never do anything at all. |
