| Vacuum Diagrams by Stephen Baxter is a wonderful collection of short-stories set in the future. Both the near future and hundreds of thousands of years into the very far away future. Actually, if i remember correctly I think it goes so far into the future that it reaches the end and destruction of the universe.

| I'm glad you asked it, because i love the issue. I agree with Zukin; Kurzweil's books are the best for predicting the future IMO.
