We had a great meetup this morning with 15 people showing up, not counting Erin and me. It was a treat to finally meet some of you face-to-face.

It was really nice to meet and share different thoughts with everyone.

I now know for sure that the body - Steve exists.

It was great to meet you all. I am glad I got a chance to have a few in-depth conversations with some of you, too.

Thanks for posting photos, powersurge!

Indeed, it would seem so. But I must say, after looking at the images/video, I expected Steve to be much more jacked (read: buffed; muscular).

Looks like you've still got a bit to go before you can take down Tony, Steve.

It's not the size that counts, it's what you do with it...

Funny, Steve's bigger than I pictured,

He looked like i imaged. Even in pictures, he certainly has a presence about him. He reminds me a bit of Paul Scheele.

Hey, size is not everything (why is it we girls always have to remind guys of this ), he looks quick. He can get behind Tony and get have a one hit KO before he can even turn his larger frame around.

Here is one for you Bruce, my video game loving friend. You know how in most RPG games (Diablo, Boulder’s gate, etc), you have a weapon and the bigger and heaver it gets and harder it is to move. So you have war hammer and you might do 100 damage but it takes you 3 seconds to get a swing off. Or you can wield a lighter fire sword that only does 50 damage but it takes a second to get a swing off. Sometimes lighter and quicker just do a better, faster, cleaner, job.

Steve would have Tony on the floor crying for his mom before Tony had the chance to raise an arm (ok exaggeration there, but you see what I mean  )

Cool, pics! And there was even a movie, though I wish it was longer. Watching the movie made me think of Steve giving speeches to sold out audiences in the future, as well as workshops. Kind of a little vision I had.

Thanks for providing the pics. Next time you should get a group portrait. :-)

We took some group photos too, but I don't think Erin downloaded them from the camera yet.

Yes, she downloaded them but has been too busy to let you know. I could shout down the hall but that would take too long.

Oh dear... Judging by the responses to my post, apparently my (failed) attempt at humour was too subtle. Maybe I needed more smilies. Hmmm... *furrows brow and rubs chin*

Seriously though, I was kidding. It was kind of a running joke I had with Steve (assuming he read my post in the Pavlina vs Robbins thread). I do love that Adrienne resorted to an RPG analogy though, haha. But lets see here...

Could it be the small congregation formed around him? Kind of reminds Jesus and his disciples:

Warning: Taking my posts seriously (or anything I say for that matter) may result in random, unexpected, spontaneous leg amputation and me trying to outdo my failed attempt at humour with MORE humour (for the love of god, why!?!? ). Viewer discretion is advised.

Trust me Bruce, the last thing I would ever do it take you seriously I was messing with you right back… maybe next time I will use more smiles.

Adrienne
PS I think Bruce is the one with a thing for Steve. I mean look at how he dolls up Steve’s Pic

I wonder what Mr.Pavlina is saying in the video.
"I never had ... in my entire life".

I mentioned that I get a lot of requests for an article on quitting smoking. I was saying that I've never had a cigarette in my mouth in my entire life, so I didn't feel qualified to write about that subject. I prefer to write from personal experience.

Can't wait to see more pictures .

I think that by just having a little photo of Steve watching you from the corner of your desktop can raise your productivity and consciousness . Heck, I might even make his eyes to follow the mouse. No more clicking at nasty icons of RPG games!

Steve, you know, now is a great opportunity to talk about the challenges of becomes rather famous. You have personal experience here. More specifically, there's a risk and a challenge associated with having photos of yourself around the net. Upon doing a google image search for "steve pavlina", there's only one image, the one in the about page. That's gonna change. This isn't just an issue for Steve, either. I have pondered how I would respond to something like this, and how much control I would try to exert over it.

Steve, how do you see yourself adapting to this fame? And how do you recommend others deal with it?

Thanks.
