Oh no. I'll be really sad to see this place go, but it's your place to do with as you will, Steve, and thank you for being upfront with us. Lots of hugs. |

I look forward to the new adventures that life has to offer. Thanks for building a great forum that has acted as a springboard for the rest of my life. I've had situations in life where things just didn't work anymore, so in that respect, I get it. There really isn't much sense in being apologetic about it, and others will make their own decisions either way. I hope you find greater happiness in 2012. -Tim |

Think I just found out what happened. I don't know if you're reading this Steve (I wouldn't blame you if you're not), but lots of hugs. Lots and lots and lots of hugs. You seem really stressed and I hope you take care of yourself especially well over the next few days, you need it. Take care.

Steve, If you turn it into a read-only, will the signatures stay attached? What about Avatars? If so, will we be able to remove them or change them later? Or will it be like everyone is banned and thus all avatars and signatures get removed? |

I don't post much, but for what it's worth I agree with the decision to shut it down. Hopefully you can archive some of the better threads if not the whole forum as read only for the people starting out in personal development. Although many of us outgrew the forums, it was a priceless resource for me the first couple of years in PD. Thanks everyone for all the stuff you guys have posted. I really wouldn't be who I am today without these forums. |

Thanks, Steve! All the best to you. I love new beginnings. I hope you're OK with me posting a place for people to stay connected. I made a Yahoo Group specifically for people from this forum who want to stay in touch. That will at least give people a place to continue communicating, and possibly coordinate a new community space if people want to do that. The group is here - totallyawesomepeople : Awesome People |

Steve, I have always considered this forum the best one out there, because whenever I had a problem or question, someone was always there for me, usually immediately. Sorry I've been so busy lately in life that I haven't visited in a while, and now I'm sorry to see the forum close down. I perfectly understand your reasons for doing so (since reading about what happened, in the Intros section). It was the "being covert" about it that I also believe was wrong on their parts. Anyway, I'll look around now to see if I can help answer any questions before this forum is closed. Thanks again to Steve and other forum members for all your help here... Love-n-hugs, *Barb* |

Would there be a way to get these forums to go somewhere else? Or we could all go somewhere else...but I doubt any forum would be of this quality ever again, so I guess for now my forum days are pretty much over.

I happened upon this forum not too long ago, I've been really enjoying having a social outlet for this side of my life. I'll be sad to see it go. But I do understand how much it takes to run a forum. Thank you both for the time you've given us |

Steve, although I was not very active here, I have to admit that I will miss the forums, even if it is only the possibility to go here for some virtual hugs or so. If it were only the current events, I'd clearly say you are overreacting. But given that you were out of sync with the forums anyway for a long long time, I understand that you take the events as as sign to finally let go of a burden. I wish you all good, and thanks to all here for a wonderful time. Whatever your plans may be, I wish you all good and lots of success! |

I don't go on the forums here anymore but I had a LOT of fun on these forums and made a lot of friends, met a lot of really fun and cool people (YOU KNOW WHO <3 and I'm really grateful for that ^-^ Oh no I'm so sad now looking through the familiar facesss the, the familiar peeps from this forum. NO! I'd like to know all this mysterious strange gossip and happenings and sudden and strange wtfs? unthinkable people being banned? ........!?&@*(*& !! ?? I'm very upset. Oh.... this is all very sad... I think maybe there is .... feelings of threat and hurt.... maybe something like that... I want there to be healing and for every person to be well and secure of mind and emotion. I do not like hurt and disconnection. If it is any help... I have forums, specialied forums, one for Social Anxiety, one for Anxiety, and one for Depression on each website of mine. I may have a weight loss forum on a weight loss website in the future, and possibly also a forum on procrastination and productivity, and LOL i know, I want to have many websites and many forums of my own lol!
