I don't go on the forums here anymore but I had a LOT of fun on these forums and made a lot of friends, met a lot of really fun and cool people (YOU KNOW WHO <3 and I'm really grateful for that ^-^ Oh no I'm so sad now looking through the familiar facesss the, the familiar peeps from this forum. NO! I'd like to know all this mysterious strange gossip and happenings and sudden and strange wtfs? unthinkable people being banned? ........!?&@*(*& !! ?? I'm very upset. Oh.... this is all very sad... I think maybe there is .... feelings of threat and hurt.... maybe something like that... I want there to be healing and for every person to be well and secure of mind and emotion. I do not like hurt and disconnection. If it is any help... I have forums, specialied forums, one for Social Anxiety, one for Anxiety, and one for Depression on each website of mine. I may have a weight loss forum on a weight loss website in the future, and possibly also a forum on procrastination and productivity, and LOL i know, I want to have many websites and many forums of my own lol! The thing is, that seems to be the intention of the other forum too. A lot of people still like this forum, so this could be an opportunity for someone who could put together something similar. Many of us are still at levels 1-3. I don't think charging a fee is the answer. That's similar to charging for membership to a gym. People at all levels start out gung-ho with great intentions then fall off, or never do more than walk on the treadmill. Even when they see the money going to waste, they aren't motivated anymore. Probably if there is a new type of forum, there would be criteria like you would have to show you were already at least a level 3; similar to his criteria for consultations. I'm still curious about his big new unnamed thing that he was working on. Maybe this will converge with a new type of forum. Last edited by Lioness; 12-23-2011 at 08:01 PM.

I think a lot of us started at around the same level vibrationally when these forums started but over the years the difference between those people who embrace growth and those people who embrace a more "victim" type mentality grew to the point now where these forums don't serve either side. I'm not perfect. I'm still growing and I still have a lot to learn, but I know 5 years ago I found coming to these forums as something fun and inspirational. In the last year or so though I've found it more and more depressing coming here, which is why I hardly ever popped by. Steve I think your energy would be much better spent creating something different, and I know you will. To create something new, sometimes we have to let go of the old. TO me, letting go of this forum comes at a time in my life when I'm also letting go of many other skeptical and "victim mentality" type people in all areas of my life. I'm not going to waste any more of my energy with people who want "proof" that Law of Attraction works for example, or that we can manifest our own reality, or that Psychic/Intuitive abilities are real. Nobody had to "prove" LoA worked for me. I read one free book on the topic (The Science of Getting Rich), and then I spent 6 solid months in PERSONAL EXPERIMENTATION trying it out. Anyway... on another note... Speaking from an intuitive perspective, I actually feel something REALLY big coming down the line from you Steve as soon as you let go of these forums. That's just what I pick up.

Steve, how about you just disable posting? That way, the people who are yet to find out that the forum has closed can still PM their friends, and the lurkers can still search the many gems posted here over the years.

| Those numbers would only relate to how big people's ego's are anyway. It shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone that a forum for 'smart' people would end in an egoic melt down. But such is life.

Before I go, because this has always got to me, Steve have you ever turned around and said, "hey look, I've made a mistake, I'm sorry, I will meet you half way in acknowledging my part". Every argument, every big "drama" on this forum, it's always everyone else is wrong, and you have the authority. I always wondered why that was the case. There never ever seemed to be any leeway into wrongdoings. Maybe that's the key to success? But actually I have seen personalities like this, I'm dealing with them right now actually (highly intellectual programmers to be precise) and I noticed something...they are highly intelligent, but never think they are wrong, impatient, go on ego trips and to be honest, never apologise or see any wrong doings on their part...and the result? They make the workplace a hard place to work in. There is so much discord. I always wondered what's behind the personality of a person that can see no wrongdoing on their part and acknowledging it. I don't get it? I would love to get under the bonnet, of that personality type. I actually find it fascinating. It's just so opposite to what I am used to. Oh my god I just realized something, Steve you can't shut the forums down, what if nicbrahms comes back? SUCH AN INTRIGUING UNSOLVED MYSTERY. Seriously what ever happened to that crazy broad? One minute she's a mild mannered shopkeeper from southern England with a passing interest in New Agey stuff, then she starts downing bottles of Ormus and suddenly she's a synchronicity machine straddling a rift in spacetime created by the sheer unreality of her thought processes. She was subjective reality. Or a really entertaining dung shoveler. And what if she comes back? She symbolized the nexus, the endgame of what all our tinkering with subjective reality could lead to. Oh internet, such lamentatious maladies do ye heap upon my soul. Last edited by KaleidoskopicVision; 12-24-2011 at 12:31 AM. |

Perhaps offering a decent salary to handle the administrative duties (like every other business in the world) would have been the smart persons approach? Like it or not, it was a function of your blogging business, which catered to people for attending your seminars and kept people reading your blog. Strange how tossing it all away seems like the correct path. Especially when many people are asking where everyone is going, so they can remain in touch with each other. Kind of mind boggling IMO...

But as Steve's career has consistently demonstrated, relying on rationale to make a business model is for squares.

I felt that elucidate was being unfair and was wondering if she might see it another way. but I guess it's pointless engaging with angry people who have already made up their minds.

Many months ago, I googled her because so many people kept asking, "Whatever happened to NicBrahms?" Well, she's still working in her parents' shop (no, she doesn't own it). There was no huge lottery win--not for her, anyway. There was a burglary, in which the thief entered her parents' home through the back of their shop and stole a lot of jewelry. I found a news article that quoted the shop owners' daughter, Nicolette Brahms, and the location matched the one she'd given somewhere else (Twitter, I believe). The robbery occurred many months after she claimed to have won the lottery. The shop itself is what, here in the US, would be called a mom-and-pop grocery--a little convenience store selling drinks and snacks and a few groceries. The shop's on the ground floor of a terrace house, and her parents live upstairs. So as far as I can tell she was just a bored young woman, living in a sleepy little town, wishing for something far more glamorous and exciting. So she came here and ended up role-playing her fantasy. Which is kind of sad, because if she'd actually listened to anyone else on the I-M forum and started making real changes, she probably could have brought her life further into alignment with her fantasies. Hell, she still could. And there you have it. Mystery solved.
