"There is no course manual. Nothing to work on. All you need is a bowl of popcorn, a TV, and your favorite chair." (quote from the Learning Strategies page Genius Mind DVD ) I would like to know something more about the content of the "Genius Mind" package, it would be great if somebody who has allready tested it would share his impressions. Thanks in advance ciao alexander

I was curious about playing these on an IPod. I ordered a couple of Paraliminals and listened to them on my IPod and while listening to them was interesting I didn't get that much out of them. I also did not know about Holosync technology at the time. However, now I am ordering the Holosync product and what I read on their site said you could only rip it down in AIFF format. paraliminals (and even the first couple of levels of holosync) are fine for playback at .mp3 compression levels (this was addressed on holosync's faq page, and probably somewhere on this forum as well). i rip all of my paraliminals to itunes in apple's aac format, simply because that's how i rip all of my music. i can tell a little bit of difference in sound quality (but i'm a recording musician), but nothing that would impact the effectiveness of the technique. uncompressed audio will be exactly the same as the cd, but it eats tons of memory and is unnecessary for paraliminals. |

I ripped all my paraliminals with iTunes in 192K VBR AAC, including the new Sonic Access, and to my ears they sound fine. I can hear the holosync entrainment etc. I think one could probably get away with the default 128K, but I wanted to make sure I didn't lose anything.

I don't mean to be pushy, but doesn't Steve usually give us the run down of a product and why he's recommending it before he does? I don't really have enough info to be interested right now.
