It's really no more disgusting if you think that mushrooms and vegetables come from manure.

Life cycles everything and if we can save money and reduce the need for waste I'm all for it, despite the huge psychological block lol.

You do know that most food at some point has made contact or is related with feces right? **** turns to fungus, turns to food for insects, eaten by animals, etc etc...

In fact one reason I love this is because I can now tell people "Eat ****". And now they actually can.

It will be a long time before this "poop steak " makes its way to the local fry's , sams club , or costco . Lots of people will have etten this stuff before I even get to try it. If they are cooking and eating this on the tv cooking shows , maby I will try some . The earth recycles everthing . desert rat

I might have less resistance to this if it didn't still look like ****.

This reminds me of hearing recently about how a protein from human hair is sometimes used as a binding agent in processed bread products.

I get that the proteins are being extracted from these things, so it's not really feces or hair anymore, it's just the isolated protein, which could come from many sources...

...but we're not meant to eat pieces of our own species. -facepalm-

I don't think I much desire to give up my resistance to these things.

It might catch on. In Singapore there is a company that bottles water recycled from toilet waste. And it's sold in convenience stores. Apparently it tastes ok - although it doesn't appeal too much to me.
