Duality or as i see LIFE

Hello Steve!
Evreday we are making desicions about our reality, but indeed one thing that bothers me is MY REALITY and THE REALITY of one country or to say colective, society,politics, economy etc.


Can i grow my personal reality without looking to other one or this is just my fears speaking?!

Steve will undoubtedly give you a much more accurate answer… but here are my personal views on this…

There are three stages in personal development and growth…

1. Dependence… at that stage, you are not able to satisfy your vital needs… someone has to assist you… (typically an infant or adolescent…)

2. Independence… you can personally fill your vital needs… the average adult…

3. Interdependence… not only can you fill your own needs… but you feel that you must extend outward to contribute to others around you, your community, your country and eventually mankind as a whole…

So, as you expand and grow… so will your reality…

so if the country im living in is a poor to international standards and i have lets just say a bit above minimum to satisfy my own and vital needs of my family what is the reality? The colective one is around you and you cannot ignore it, to cover most basic needs in one month is expensive so what is my reality?
It was very nice when i heard Steve's intro but as i see he truly passed and evolved these tree stages.So in my case maybe it happend bit later in terms of age this first two stages.

well its the reality as i see now in country that im living , to fulfill the vital needs is hard to achieve even if you are adult, to paraphrase state of independence , maybe 60% adults are living with their parents to fullfill most vital need, place to live, bills to pay each month, prices for living are high
Im working and my spouse too and we can afort to cover only our basic needs and hardly something more.

By the way, all three of these are happening simultaneously! This is not a step-by-step, linear process where you progress from one to the other. You are operating at all of them whether you are aware of it or not. It is all superimposed. Examining yourself with respect to each level separately is useful though.

You have not read "The Seven Habits of Highly Successful People" by Stphen R. Covey have you...??? (see here)

Those stages are not superimposed... and you cannot have access to the next plateau until you have finished the preceding one...

How could an infant (being dependent) be independent...??? and how could a teenager (being barely independent) be totally interdependent...???

I will agree with you though that we can regress in behavior... an interdependent person could be quite dependent if he or she was bedridden... or in such similar case...
