I noticed in Steve's post about ING Direct that he had given out all of his and his family's referrals to ING Direct. I'm interested in starting an ING account though, and didn't notice any existing posts about ING Direct account referrals, so I though I'd start one.

Does anyone have an extra ING referral?

FYI I switched my accounts to HSBC.com since then -- they consistently pay higher interest than Ing. They also gave a $25 sign-up bonus that didn't require a referral.

Thanks, Steve! Is there a special link we need to use to get the $25 sign on bonus? I did a search for it and couldn't find a current reference to it anywhere.

They may not be offering the bonus any more. It was over a year ago I signed up with them.
