Hello,

I am new here, I just had to register and ask this asap, coz it won't let me sleep.

Did he mean he did quit runing EACH and EVERY day no matter what for good, or simply running when you want or 2-3 times a week (i mean a slow down). ?
I am really very very curious why, and to understsand the point of this (i guess imporant) thing

Now I am going to explore the forum, as it seems very live

Thanks

Oopps, that is a very good reason.
Was it from running alone, or some other acident?

That changes the thing completely. I hope his knee is doing OK by now...

Thanks for the info

I asked becuase I also want(ed) to try running, on some regular basic, but need to find some more theory about it - not to hurt knee or angleks or so... (quality runing shoes etc, technique or running etc)

The things that you add in such as running shoes and the like will have some affect, however there are many things that are going to be outside your control as well. For example, you could take two people same age, weight, build. Put the same shoes on each of them and have them run the same route each day for a year. And at the end of that year there will still be differences. While there are the things that you need to consider, your running style and most especially the way your body works (eg bone density, muscle's) will all impact your different to other people.
