Default I just noticed there is no specific forum for a discussion about Science.

If you look at all of the forum names in here, you'll notice that none of them really qualify for talking directly about science, scientific theories, or the development of thought and logic or scientific hypotheses.

I thought "Technology" might partially qualify, but most posts in there are about computers and programming and the like, which isn't the same thing per se.

I realized this because I wanted to post a discussion about what I consider to be a very scientific matter or scientific hypothesis, but none of the forums in here really qualify as "the right forum" to post it in.

Maybe we could have a new forum created for "Science & Human Development" or something like that?

There is, it's "Spirituality, Consciousness, &Awareness
Spirituality, beliefs, the nature of reality, consciousness, [b]awareness[b], metaphysics, truth, philosophy, religion"

Finding the truth about the nature of reality is what science is about.

Well for me I considering spirituality to be science and vice versa, I don't know if enough people share my view to warrant them being synonymous forum-wide.

I did consider the Spirituality forums to be somewhat appropriate.

But really, spirituality and science are two different "levels" of reality. Spirituality typically explains things from a more general perspective that is focused on the "meaning" of human development, whereas science seems to be focused on the mechanism of human development.

My idea for a post is about physical evolution and technological advances relating to that, not spiritual evolution per se, so when considering what forum to post in I realized that the Spirituality forum might be the closest one to the right topic, but it still seemed a bit off.

You've been a member for over two years, and you just noticed that now. Perhaps there isn't really a need for it then .

There are a few other very niche topics that don't perfectly fit in one of the existing categories either. They don't really generate enough traffic/interest to warrant its own sub-forum, and I suspect the same is true for a science forum.

I don't think it is just the spirituality forum, that just happens to be the first word listed. However, I posted something about science in there before and it got 0 replies.

From what I've seen, science topics tend to get the most attention in the World Affairs forum.

There's one reality. There no need for having double standards.

It all depends on what level you look at it from
