Now this is what I'm talking about! Real, honest, somewhat-freeform networking.

I wish I weren't over a thousand miles away. I'd jump on this faster than a jackrabbit on a hot greasy griddle in the middle of August on a day without rain.

Or something.

It sounds amazing! If this goes well (and I think it will) I hope its the start of something that will grow. I'd love to see these kinds of groups form in other cities as well.

Networking works.

I LOL'd hardcore at the Fight Club references.

Just make sure that the applicants wait three days without food, shelter or encouragement before they may enter and begin their training.

This is great! It's good to see more people learning about the existence of men's groups.

Shortly after CGW #1, while looking for ways to continue personal growth, I stumbled upon a men's group and have been there ever since.

Originally, I wasn't sure what to expect--but after a while I noticed some similarities (at least for the group I'm in). The concept of making commitments (with consequences) public for accountability, and even the CGW #5 closing exercise were activities in my group.

A question

What if I identify closer to female than to male, but have a man's body? Do I go to a women's group or a man's group?

You know what's ironic is that it takes a lot more courage for a man to express his feminine side than it usually takes for him to express his masculine side. So expressing your femininity equals.... becoming more of a man?

And Steve, I would totally go to something like this if I lived nearby. Unfortunately I do not!
